Water Activities
Idle away the day in your floating chair surrounded by lush greenery and lagoons. At our AAA Four Diamond Kauai beach resort, you'll find everything from scuba lessons to kayak rentals. If it's ocean breezes you prefer, our white sand beach is just steps away. Our nationally renowned water playground includes an adult pool, a large activity pool, a meandering river pool with waterfalls and hidden caves, 150 foot waterslide, cabanas, three Jacuzzis, and a saltwater lagoon.

Salt Water Lagoon
Find your perfect spot to hide away, basking in the warmth of the sun in our expansive saltwater lagoon. Let the gentle motion of the waters soothe you as you glide effortlessly on a floating chair. If you’re feeling like a little exercise, you can rent one of our kayaks or take a snorkeling and diving lesson from our experienced Kauai beach hotel staff.

Freshwater Pools
Slip down the 150 foot slide that lands you with a refreshing splash into the crystal clear freshwater pool below. These enchanting "river pools" wind through waterfalls and grottos into pools perfect for swimming and playing a game of water volleyball. Sun lit decks woven throughout the river-like pools offer spectacular places to take in the stunning Hawaiian scenery.

White Sand Beach
Enjoy early morning dune walks, lounge along the edge of the Pacific or view stunning sunsets, all from the comfort of the beautiful beach. Adjacent to our Kauai beach resort, Shipwreck Public Beach, is a lovely stretch of sand great for walking and sunbathing.

Children of any age must be accompanied by an adult.
No lifeguard on duty

Hours: 24 hour pool facility *Water slide has a 42" minimum height requirement

Due to the short shore break and strong current, we advise only advanced surfers to venture further than the shoreline. Warning flags posted along the beach are there to help guests determine whether conditions are safe for ocean swimming. There is no lifeguard posted at Shipwreck Beach so you should also follow safe ocean swimming guidelines. Always swim or snorkel with a buddy. Never turn your back on the ocean. Always keep an eye on young children.
