Be inspired to play your best at our Kauai Hyatt on our three plexi-paved courts overlooking the breathtaking beauty of the golf course. The easy climate of Poipu Beach is perfect for a daytime round of tennis, whether you treat each match as a Grand Slam event, or enjoy just playfully lobbing some balls with the family. The Tennis Garden and Sports Center at Grand Hyatt Kauai offers an exciting daily schedule of events, including clinics, round robins and private lessons for all levels, as well as catered tennis parties and company fun doubles or tournaments. One hour of court time daily is complimentary to all guests. Additional court time is available at $30 per hour.

Hours: 8:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. and 1:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.

Tennis Clinics
Join us every day at 9:00a.m. for a one-hour clinic for intermediate and advanced players. Each day we focus on a different subject, all coordinated to give you your best game possible. Clinic fees are $25 per person, please call to make reservations by 6:00p.m. the day prior.

Lessons
Take advantage of our staff of tennis pros. Tennis lessons are geared to fit every level of play, from beginner to daily enthusiast. Prices for private lessons are $50 per half hour; $75 per hour (four person maximum) Tennis lessons are subject to a two hour cancellation policy.

Tennis Garden Pro Shop
Our pro shop features an excellent selection of men’s and women’s tennis wear, tennis shoes, tennis balls and accessories. We’ve also got you covered if you forgot your racquet or tennis shoes at home. Racquet rental is complimentary with a lesson or clinic, or $5 per hour. Ball machine rental is $25 per half hour or $35 per hour. Mountain bike rental is $25 up to two hours or $35 per day. Tandem bike rental is $35 up to two hours or $45 for a full day.
